"Death Of A Six-Foot Teddy Bear" Review and Giveaway!

Okay readers, I have a fun treat for you all today!

Question: What do you get when you mix mystery, friendship, romance, giant toys, a wacky hotel, squirrels, the World's Biggest Garage Sale and then shake it up with murder and stolen jewelry?

Answer: Sharon Dunn's newest book and the second in her Bargain Hunter Mystery Series!

Buckle your seatbelt and strap in for a wild and wacky ride in this fun book that grabbed me from the get-go and didn't let me off (no matter how dizzy I got!) until the ride was over... and what a ride it was! Join Ginger and her husband Earl as they travel to Calamity, Nevada with the other Bargain Hunter gals as Earl looks for his big break at the Inventor's Expo and the ladies set out to find the best deals possible at the World's Biggest Garage Sale! Wait a second... Earl discovers a dead man in a bear suit with a celebrity squirrel in his mouth - and then it starts to get bizarre!!!

This is a fun read that will keep you entertained and make you laugh, but it will also keep you guessing til the end about who did what and why and how - Sharon's writing style makes it all a joy - leave a comment telling me about the best bargain you've ever found and I'll enter you for a chance to win a copy of this book!

I'll start - before Christmas I found a black velvet dress with a gorgeous lace inset in the neckline for my 11 year old daughter and it was brand new with the tags still on it (retail $69) at a thrift store where I stumbled on a sale with all children's clothing items for $.25 each - savings of $68.75! Oh, and more recently I was blessed with a bunkbed/futon set from a great family on Freecycle (retail $550) my price - $0.00 and the look on my children's faces when they saw what we got them - priceless!!!

Okay, I am definately a bargain hunter. On Wednesday the local elementary school was having a buy one get one free book fair. I got Eoin Colfer's Half Moon and a picture book called Ten in a Meadow for $2 total. $1 each for brand new books. And my daughters listened to Ten in a Meadow as their bedtime story last night and loved it!

I admit it, you got a better deal. But mine involved books!

Hmmmmmm, one of my best recent bargains would be a book I recently got off of paperback swap (Bartholomew's Passage), for FREE!!! At the time, Amazon had it going for a MINIMUM of $200(it's out of print)! :)

Please enter me in the contest.

My latest bargain was a few weeks ago whenI happened upon a garage sale and decided to stop. I ended up with an armload of clothes for my two girls for $5. The woman running it just kep adding to the pile even after I had paid and some of the things look like new!

Love to be entered in the drawing.

These are some great tips. I usually do most of my shopping at the end of season clearance. Hate paying full price for anything. Garage sales here are overpriced to the point that if I shop carefully I can get brand new for the same price.

This is a fun book, folks.

My MIL once got my youngest daughter a leather skirt and a fuzzy shirt with fake fir around the neck that matched it for only a couple bucks. My daughter is that frilly kind and loved it. This books sounds fun and I would love to win it.

The very end of a long day of yard sales, a couple of hours after most had shut down, on a whim taking a turn down another road.....a beautiful old pottery bowl, worth about $50 at the time. I think I got it for fifty cents, in perfect condition.

I hope I'm not too late to enter the drawing. I love to bargain hunt and have been wanting to read this!

Thanks!
