"Start Here" Book Review and Giveaway!

Summary:

At the age of eighteen, Alex and Brett Harris wrote Do Hard Things—and launched a movement that would change a generation. Young people around the world were ready to be inspired, ready to move beyond complacency, ready to rebel against society’s low expectations.

Now the highly anticipated companion book, Start Here, answers the questions Alex and Brett have received from thousands of teens on their worldwide conference tour and popular online community: How do I get started? What hard things does God want me to do? How do I keep from getting discouraged or burned out? What is the best way to inspire others?

Filled with stories and insights from Alex, Brett, and other real-life rebelutionaries, Start Here is a powerful and practical guide for young people who are ready to take the next step and blast past apathy. Let the rebelution continue.

MY REVIEW:

I loved the book "Do Hard Things" by Alex and Brett Harris. I actually consider it a great book for all Christians not just teens. Now "Start Here" is like the guide book or the how-to book for Do Hard Things. Easy to read and full of inspiration, this book will help teens and Christians in general see how they can start making a difference right where they are at whatever stage of life they are in. A valuable resource, especially for anyone just wondering where to jump in!

They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks. I disagree: if one is still alive, they can change through the Lord. Please enter me. Thanks. (I'm not saying I'm an old dog. LOL!)

I'm excited for this giveaway. I have had the book "Do Hard Things" on my to-read list and just recently heard about this one. Boy, do I have some catching up to do. Originally, I want the book for my kids but I agree with you, Janna - I will get a lot out of it myself! It's the hard things that really help us grow and I could use some inspiration to help get me out of my comfort zone!

I haven't read 'Do Hard Things', but it's on my Wish list... I'd like to read these books because I'm a young person doing 'hard things' to impact the world and I'd like to see what they have to say about it. :)
