"A Love Surrendered" Book Review

A LOVE SURRENDERED
BY
JULIE LESSMAN

Orphaned in Iowa, Annie Kennedy moves to Boston to stay with her spinster aunt. She longs for romance to fill the void left by her parents' death. But when she falls hard for Steven O'Connor, the man who broke an engagement to her sister, Annie is worried. Will he break her heart too when he discovers who she really is? With heart-pounding romance, intense family drama, and emotional twists and turns, A Love Surrendered is everything Julie Lessman's many fans have been waiting for.

MY REVIEW:
One of my favorite sagas of all times continues with A Love Surrendered. It is technically the 6th book in the series (with a prequel with Marcy and Patrick releasing soon) and each book has been one to enjoy. This book was one to savor. The best part of Julie's books are that she doesn't forget about her characters when she moves on to the next one, they don't even just pop in for a cameo - no, we get to keep visiting them and enjoying them and seeing what they are up to. So in this book we may get inside the heads of Steven and Annie who are the "main characters", but we get to also follow Faith and Collin, Charity and Mitch, Luke and Katie, Sean and Emma, Brady and Lizzie, Patrick and Marcy and the cousins and kids. There are some twists and turns that try and keep romance at bay for Steven but in the end he finds that God is in control. Julie has done it again. I love the O'Connor clan and it is a pleasure to follow them through the years.
