Life Size Clue - Kid Sized Imaginations!

Sometimes my kids amaze me. In this day and age of technology, I wonder what ever happened to good old fashioned imaginations - and a day like yesterday comes along and I remember how wonderful kids are.

My kids decided to play CLUE today. But instead of the boring old sit around the dining room table and play CLUE - they decided to play a life size game of CLUE. Yep, they set up different "rooms" using Barbie furniture and such and I helped them collect "weapons" (a flashlight instead of lead pipe, a candle instead of a candlestick, the rope really was a rope though...) and then they each picked a person to be. They proceeded to play the game by standing in the room they wanted to make the accusation in and putting the weapon and other person there. I was impressed. I couldn't join them because I was already pulling my hair out with the things I had to do, but I think one of the first things I want to do after dance classes end on Tuesday for the Christmas season is to play a life size game of CLUE with my kids!

Here is Paige as Miss Scarlet with the wrench in the Ballroom...

You know, don't you, that it looks like these young minds are well on their way to writing their own books, don't you?? Sounds like the beginnings of story plots to me!
