MY REVIEW:
Do you know someone that loves getting into the spirit of Christmas? The decorating, the baking, cooking, gift giving, entertaining... all of it? Are you that person? Then "The Christmas Kitchen" is for you.
This book is a great compilation of some fantastic recipes, excellent tips and ideas and everything you need to put you in the mood for the holiday season. It is beautifully done and would be great for gift giving. Check out some of these recipes...
Salmon and Lemon-Caper Cream Sandwiches
French Apple Cake with Caramel Sauce
Curried Chicken-Cashew Sandwiches
Coconut Angel Cupcakes
Teddy Bear Caramel Corn
Bon Temps Cajun Shrimp
Ambrosia Punch
Feliz Navidad Tortilla Soup
Cranberry Guacamole
And this is just the beginning - I can't wait to make some of these recipes myself this month. The one thing about the book that confused me a little bit was all the recipes that were in it, and tons of pictures but no pictures of the food. I love pictures of food to go with recipes. Instead of food pictures there are lots of pictures of people... with no captions of who they are??? But that is probably just me being quirky, other than that I absolutely love this book! Great gift for a Christmas lover or perfect for yourself!

My favorite part of the holidays--On Christmas Eve we go out as a family and pass along a little Cheer to a stranger in the form of a Christmas basket filled with all sorts of Christmas decorations, and small gifts, and baked goods, along with a card explaining our Christmas tradition and the hope that some day they will be in a position to carry on our tradition.

My favorite part of christmas is getting together with family and friends. I also love the toy drives.
My favorite part of Christmas is having my parents here to enjoy the day with us. They are no longer able to drive this far so we pick them up and bring them home again. That way they still get to have a big decorated tree and a nice dinner with no cleanup, just leftovers to take home.

There are so many things that it is hard to just name one. I love baking cookies, shopping for presents for loved ones, taking the kids out and around to see the light displays, teaching the kids that Jesus is the reason for the season, etc.

My favorite part of Christmas is how our whole family gets together and we put everything else aside and spend time with each other. And remembering all that God has so richly blessed us with in the past year.

I love the warmth of the season and seeing the children anticipating Santa and the family getting together.
Favorite part is when we all sit down for xmas dinner together as a family
My favorite part of Christmas has to be the excitement in my children.
They love Christmas, They want to start decorating in Sept.
They listen to Christmas music all year long and my 3rd son says that when he grows up and has his own house, He will have one room decorated Christmas all year long.
He is 14 and still says that.
He does all my decorating and takes it all down too.
I would love this book, so that I can give him more ideas for Christmas decor and recipes.
Thanks for this giveaway.

One of my favorite parts of Christmas is wrapping gifts. When my sister and I got older, our parents let us stay up a little later and help them wrap presents for our younger siblings. We loved being Santa!
I carry Christmas in my heart all year long. However, the feeling intensifies during the holidays. It's that intangible anticipation, expectation and heightened awareness that is my favorite thing about Christmas. I love all the sights, sounds, and scents of the holidays.
